This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega opens with a boysenberry and Spanish cedar bouquet with hints of violet, dark chocolate, and black currant. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, super smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is a tasty cassis and cedar blend with notes of stone dust and pomegranate. We also detected hints of green tea and acai berry. The finish is dry, and its flavors and fine polished dusty tannins linger and last for quite some time.

First planted in the early 1900’s by horse and plow, the dramatic terraces of Marston Vineyard feature a variety of altitudes, exposures and mixed soils. Combined with the cool, long growing season of the Spring Mountain AVA, this organically farmed vineyard produces Cabernet Sauvignon with mineral laden, dark fruit flavors and a sturdy backbone for aging.
