Robert Parker 94+ Points "Black cherries, bay leaves and rubbed sage appear on the nose of the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Houyi Vineyard, a site in the (unofficial) Pritchard Hill district. One of only two AO Cabernets from this vintage to reach 15% alcohol, it's medium to full-bodied and a bit broader in the mouth but still nicely balanced, with ample tannins and acids to impart structure and length."
Situated at 1,400 feet in the Vaca Mountains on Pritchard Hill, Houyi Vineyard produces powerful, ripe Cabernet Sauvignon with deep, concentrated flavors. Named after the mythical Chinese archer who saved the Earth, this dramatic, rock-strewn, south-facing vineyard yields wines of remarkable character.
