But since strict regulations limit the amount of wine each bodega can sell, this premier estate had an excess of Tempranillo from their best vineyards in Rioja Alta. Usually, it would be blended into their top-tier Crianza, which, in the past, has earned a 90+ and Best Buy rating from the country’s revered Peñin wine guide. Instead, it’s yours at a very attractive price.
The classic Rioja showcases juicy, bright red-fruited flavors with spice and chocolate notes on its long, complex finish.
