Robert Parker 91 Points A blend of grapes from different old vineyards in the Chantada and Ribeira de Miño subzones of Ribeira Sacra, where grape varieties are mixed in the field and the soils are mostly granite-based. Fermentation involves whole clusters and short macerations and the wines are matured in oak fudres and used 500-liter barrels. The wines are fresher than those from the Amandi subzone, with plenty of cracked black peppercorn, wild berry and herb aromas and some rusticity. The palate is light and refreshing, with high, effervescent acidity.
