This Chianti Classico is 90% Sangiovese, with the balnce made up of traditional Tuscan varieties like Cilirgiolo, Colorino, and Canaiolo. The wine ferments in stainless steel, then some of it sees wood ageing while some goes into cement tanks. This is a nicely intense Sangiovese, mildly earthy, with dark berry fruit and a moderate level of tannins.
