Antonio Galloni 90 Points"The 2018 Basarin Vigna Gianmate Barbaresco is darker and more potent than the straight Basarin bottling. Red cherry, orange peel, iron, spice, tobacco and cedar all flesh out. The 2018 is a strapping, rustic Barbaresco, but it also has balance overall. The 2018 is a wild, powerful wine with a huge core of fruit and brawny tannins. I would prefer to drink it on the younger side. There is plenty of depth and substance."
