Antonio Galloni 96 Points Altare's 2011 Langhe Arborina (Nebbiolo) is gorgeous in this vintage. Freshly cut flowers, spices, mint and licorice jump from the glass in a wonderfully nuanced, detailed wine. Nebbiolo seems to have handled the unique challenges of the vintage better than Barbera. Sweet floral and spiced notes flow through to the striking, layered finish.
