Fourth-generation winemaker Rocco D’Angelo crafted Carmine Crocco at his century-old family estate in Italy’s renowned Basilicata region. Made with Aglianico and aged for six months in barrel, it boasts spicy, dark-berry flavors and serious acclaim. Carmine Crocco is a medium- to full-bodied red wine with ripe dark berry and plum aromas, underpinned by earthy spice, olive and floral notes. The palate has similar flavors, with vibrant acidity, grippy tannins and a long, concentrated finish.
