Clear color. Aromas and flavors of black jelly bean, lemon zest, white flowers, and poppyseed and black pepper with a glycerous, crisp, off-dry medium body and a tingling, delightful, very long finish imparting notes of anise, star anise, gentian root, and sassafras. For the consumer that loves anise, this is a very well made and balanced liqueur.
