This single origin barley is distilled and aged for a minimum of 3 years in a combination of 31% first-fill US oak, 19% virgin US oak, 25% premium French oak and 25% Vin Doux Naturel. Rathclough is deep and dark fruited - figs, dates, and plums rule the day here. Dark spices too - licorice, black pepper, and nutmeg notes make this especially great for a winter dram.
